Sound Healing with Sabrina

Immerse yourself in a transformative sound bath, where healing frequencies harmonise the mind, body, and soul for profound relaxation and rejuvenation.

Dive deeply into the world of sacred sound.

Sound healing is a deeply restoring practice that helps with emotional release and healing of the mind and body. I have spent 15 years working with Himalayan singing bowls, gongs from Nepal, Tibet, and India, as well as the Bansuri flute, voice, rhythms, and energy work. Combining ancient methods with modern science, each session is a meaningful journey for both me and the participant. Sound affects our physical, emotional, energetic, and mental states. The vibrations from the gong and bowls reach deep into the body, healing not just the mind but also internal organs, helping restore balance, improve sleep, and reduce stress.

The Yoga Sutras describe Nada as the first vibration of creation, emphasizing the universal principle of sound and vibration as a core aspect of existence and interconnectedness. Sound healing acknowledges that everything vibrates, from subatomic particles to the heart's rhythm, and that these vibrations can be harmonized to promote healing.

I provide sound treatments in Chesterfield, Sheffield, and London. I host monthly sound events for groups in Derbyshire and Yorkshire, and during winter in Goa, India. I can also travel anywhere in the UK or Europe, with travel costs TBD.

What to expect during a PRIVATE SESSION:

45 minutes Sound Bath:

Sound therapy with bowls and gongs utilises the resonant vibrations of these instruments to promote deep relaxation and holistic healing. You will be laying on a comfortable mat with bowls and gongs place around you and be immersed in their vibrational healing therapy. The harmonic tones produced by Himalayan singing bowls, combined with the rich, immersive sound of gongs, facilitate a meditative state that harmonises the body’s energy systems. This practice can help reduce stress, release emotional blockages, and enhance overall well-being by aligning mind, body, and spirit.

90 minutes Sound Massage Treatment with singing bowls:

You will lay on the floor supported by a comfortable massage mat, blankets and bolster to support your knees, in order to allow the body to be fully relaxed and supported during the session. The session starts with an aura cleansing or a sound bath where you will be laying surrounded by bowls and be immerse in the sound inducing you into a relaxed state and then we will proceed applying the bowls to the various body parts for a profound massage that will leave you relaxed, rejuvenated. Please allow time off after a Sound Treatment and drink plenty of water to allow the flush of toxins.

What to expect at a GROUP SOUND BATH:

We usually start with a Yoga Nidra or mindfulness meditation, or chanting, sometimes with large groups we might do some movement before laying down on the mat and close our eyes, this allow us to enter the sound journey without carrying our “personal baggage” and leave behind stress, being fully present in the moment. The Sound bath begins and will last anything between 20 to 45 minutes, you might feel transported with your mind in a different realm, or you might experience visions of colours or shapes, or you might just feel so deeply relaxed, everyone’s experience is different. It’s important that you let go of judgement and allow yourself to be open to the vibrations, the sounds allowing the journey to unfold.

GONG YOGA NIDRA

One of the most profound ways to create relaxation with the gong is through a guided process known as Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra induces deep relaxation, heightens awareness, enables self-diagnosis, integrates changes, and accelarates healing. It is a powerful tool for therapeutic change that is accomplished over an extended (45 to 60 minutes) relaxation period. Gong Yoga Nidra utilises the sound of the gong throughout the Yoga Nidra session enhancing visualisation with its deep sound, working on both visual and auditory imagination and resetting the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, and inducing an hypnotic and meditative state. The session culminates in a Gong bath and the experience and relaxation time.

Who is sound therapy suitable for?

I assist individuals experiencing pain, chronic illness, stress, anxiety, and various other conditions. Many also seek my guidance not for a particular problem but from a desire to realign their energy or explore how sound can enhance their self-care, meditation, and spiritual growth.
